At the beginning of each school year, we use diagnostic assessments to measure where students are starting, track growth, and identify areas where they may need extra support. The fall diagnostic window opens September 2nd.

These assessments help teachers plan instruction and provide targeted support so every student can succeed.

Join us for Title I Night on [insert date] in the Elementary Cafeteria from 5:00–7:00 p.m.! 🎉 Families and students in grades PK–8 are invited to enjoy games, crafts, and snacks together. At 5:30 p.m., Mrs. Eudaley will host an important informational meeting in Mrs. Sievers’s room, which will last until 6:00 p.m. This is a great opportunity to learn more about our Title I program while your children participate in fun activities. We look forward to seeing you there!

Picture Day is coming up! 📸 Students will have the opportunity to take their Fall Original portraits, while seniors will sit for their Senior Original photos. In addition, banner photos will also be taken at this time. Be sure to dress your best and bring your smile.

We are excited to announce the launch of our new East Carter County R-II School District website, which is now ADA compliant! 🌐✨ While we are still in the process of updating a few pages, the transition has gone smoothly, and we are thrilled with the improvements. One of the best new features is the ability to share seamlessly between ParentSquare and Facebook, helping us connect more easily with our families and the wider community. We look forward to using this updated platform to keep everyone informed and engaged!

East Carter Elementary now has a freshly paved pick-up line, making dismissal smoother and safer for families.

A new accessibility ramp has been installed outside the Pre-K building to provide safer and easier access for students and teachers.

The high school gym floor refinishing project is well underway following water damage, and steady progress is being made.

Our SECOND Mo-QPK grant-funded Pre-K classroom is now open, and our Little Redbirds are off to a fantastic start!
