students K-12, has a 4-day school-week and offers a generous health

many outdoor activities close by and a four-lane drive to major cities.

HS Business Teacher (potential)
The East Carter County R-2 School District has an opening for a
Potential Business Teacher. The district has approximately 700
students k-12 and has a strong technology program to support
students and teachers in the learning process. The District offers a
generous health benefit plan, with staff choice from multiple different
plans, with a PPO Option fully paid by the Board. The district is
located in an area with multiple recreational activities nearby, such as
hiking, floating and kayaking. East Carter County R-2 Schools is a 4-

Substitute Teachers
The East Carter Co. R-2 School District is accepting applications for substitute teachers and substitute para-professionals. Subs are needed throughout the district in many different job types and age groups. The current full-day pay rate is $135.00. Successful candidates must complete a job application, have completed 60 or more college hours, pass a background check and possess an active substitute teaching certificate issued from DESE prior to being presented to the Board of Education.
